IPC celebrates its 30th anniversary
In 2023, Interprofession du Port de Concarneau is celebrating 30 years of naval passion and economic development in the heart of the Blue City. A success and an anniversary that the members of the association wish to share with everyone, the inhabitants of Concarneau, staff and their families, customers, and partners.
The IPC has therefore chosen to celebrate its 30th anniversary with the Paprec Transat which will leave Concarneau on 30th April 2023. A great week of festivities during the spring holidays will animate Concarneau and its port. A great opportunity to celebrate Concarneau’s shipbuilding and repair industry and to discover our activities. IPC will offer activities and visits, in partnership with the Ville de Concarneau and the CCI MBO, as well as a special “Open Day” to visit companies on 28th April.
A free public event, designed to promote or revisit the shipbuilding-repair industry and the companies that fit Concarneau in the heart since 1993!
Openning Day for visiting companies
The Port of Concarneau’s industrialists are opening doors to the public on Friday 28 April. Come and discover the companies, their workshops, and their design offices during a free 30-minute visit.
Companies to discover: Barillec Marine Concarneau, Barillec Marine Services, Blys, JFA Yachts, Locarmor, Meca Diesel, Chantiers Piriou, Piriou Naval Services, SIECMI and SEMIM.

Visiting ships and port infrastructures
Come and visit the facilities of the Port of Concarneau, its modern and efficient tools at the service of shipowners, its asset and history.
Quayside, visit for the first time the 70m dredger Hydromer, ordered by the Occitanie Region to maintain the ports of the Gulf of Lion.
